PetX by Dog Owners for Dog Owners
Originally from the United Kingdom (UK) but now living in Dubai, we are frequent travellers with our dogs, Freya and Peach. Having family across the world and enjoying travel, we often felt it was a challenge to travel internationally as we wanted to ensure our dogs travelled with us. We would often want to travel to the UK, so that our dogs could escape the heat of Dubai summer, be with family in the UK at Christmas or take our dogs away with us when the kids weren’t in school and we planned travel.
When trying to travel with our pets we were faced with the challenges that all dog owners have, placing them in the hold, hire a private jet or use a pay per seat service model. All of these options are expensive by mere nature of the work that is required but we felt like the service we received did not match the price tag and often moaned about the issues in current service models.
With years of experience building successful companies, travel, customer service and operating across aviation we decided to build PetX as the company to ensure that dog owners can travel with their pets with the majority of the stress removed by handling what can appear complex pet regulation and requirements, so we include that service in our ticket price.
